My laundry disappeared and reappeared!
Yesterday morning after I washed the laundry, I got Baby to hang them on the laundry racks, allocated for each household, outside our house. This privilege only accorded to residents who stay at ground level. As his mum would be at home, we left for work with the laundry still hanging outside.
Later on, his mum went to the market and after she came back, all our laundry outside was gone! Disappeared! Not even a piece left on the rack! She was really puzzled and shocked at the same time coz she did not bring the laundry in at all.. there was nothing she could do rite? so LL lor..
And guess what? After a while the laundry re-appeared and was back on the laundry racks "unharmed"! This was even more puzzling... WTH happened?! We still dunno what exactly happened until now. We also did not go around and ask or check coz we do not know our neighbours.. therefore we just leave this mystery as it is. Weird! Weird! Weird!
But we speculated and hence this is our only conclusion: Our super duper nice neighbour next door helped us by bringing the laundry into their house, while Baby's mum went to the market coz it started to pour when she was at the market, and then put it back onto the racks after the rain. All these happened so fast and without Baby's mum knowledge at all so there's no way we could solve this mystery for now... It's literally like now you see, now u dun and now u see again!
If this is the case then the only thing I can say: Tiong Bahru neighbourhood is damn cool! And they like to go all out to help people in silence! Where to find such neighbours nowadays with this kinda fantastic attitude? Rare! Neighbours in these days are "Ki Ki Ku Ki Ki" type!
Hmmm... what other possibilities could you guys think of? 7th month's over when this happen hockay so dun come out with all the ghostly crap! LOL

Its either they are nice, like what you said, to bring in your laundry for you due to rain. OR, the person is some pervert, brought your clothes in, smell them, wear them, try them. Haha. U better pray its not the latter....
Waa weird also.. HAHA! Can't solve eh. Em, maybe like you said wanna rain already then your neighbour keep then after that they hang them back? =/

minna, yeah.. i was taken aback by such nice gesture coz never had nice neighbours previously, furthermore we dunno them at all..
I don't know where those racks are located and how they look like but my 1st impression is that your baby's mum mistaken another house's empty racks as yours, went back into the house... since now in the correct house already, she naturally find those clothings back in the racks. is it? lol
ok good effort but IMO cannot be leh..
1stly, she hangs clothes more than we do! haha
2ndly, the racks are right infront of every house's backyard..

The perks of living on ground floor is yes u can hang yr clothes outside, no waiting of the lift (my personal fav cos u won end up in a lift with some shady character)
but the cons will be a lot of cockroach! sometime rats too! okay makes other think i stay in kampong.. k back to yr story..
hmmm.. i only have my laundry missing.. and den see my shirt on some blanglah body.. to reappear again.. let me think...

My thoughts will be:
A - either your baby's mum saw wrongly, wasnt in the 'right' state of mind or
B - you neighbour took the clothes in w/o telling your baby's mother and put it back again w/o her noticing.
C - i don't know.

how about the neighbour/neightbour's maid mistaken the rack of clothes belong to them, and when they realise it doesnt belong to them, they put it back quietly.
